I.Program Introduction

Northwestern Polytechnical University - Brand University of Applied Sciences Industrial Design Joint Educational Program was approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China in March, 2021. Certification Code: MOE61DE1A20212165N.

The program adheres to the concept of “Interversity”, which shares the advantageous resources of three teaching locations - Xi'an, Taicang and Hamburg. It promotes the extensive flow of talents and knowledge all over the world through cross-border, cross-field and cross-industry cooperation in education.

Under the guidance of “the integration of technology and art, the intersection of literature and industry”, the program aggregates the advantageous resources of NPU and BU to build an advanced “technology-art-branding” training mode. It focuses on cultivating innovative design talents who can independently engage in scientific research, design and practice.

The program offers courses on Brand and Design-Thinking, Agile Product Development, Creative Product Design, Artificial Intelligence for Design Innovation, Creative Technology and Tools, UX strategy, and so on.

Graduates can apply for a doctoral program in Industrial Design, Design, or other related disciplines in China, Germany, or other countries.
