Talent Recruitment
From March 26 to 27, 2024, a delegation led by Professor Zhao Haitao, Assistant Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, visited the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) to conduct talent exchange meetings and academic activities, following the university's global talent recruitment plan.
The school held global recruitment events at NUS and NTU, engaging in face-to-face discussions with over 20 outstanding young scholars to enhance mutual understanding. As the school representative, Professor Zhao Haitao introduced the school's talent recruitment policies and encouraged the scholars to apply for various talent programs through the School of Mechanical Engineering. The sessions were well-attended with a very lively atmosphere.

During the talent exchange meeting at NTU, Professor Zhao Haitao spoke as a representative of young faculty members. He shared his reasons for choosing the School of Mechanical Engineering and his experiences since joining the school a year ago. He emphasized the strong commitment and high priority the university and the school place on attracting outstanding talent. To provide an excellent development environment and support for young faculty, the school offers comprehensive assistance in policies, platforms, and research funding. It has specifically established the "Tiangong Kaiwu" Talent Special Zone on Youyi Campus and the "Chang'an Xianhang Manufacturing" Talent Special Zone. Additionally, the school provides competitive compensation packages and access to sports facilities, warmly inviting outstanding young scholars to join them in serving the nation's development.

In recent years, the university and school have focused on precise talent acquisition, vigorously promoting recruitment through various channels. In the next phase, the school will continue to proactively "go global" to attract talent. Simultaneously, it will actively organize forums for young scholars, such as the "Soaring Young Scholars Forum," to attract outstanding young researchers from relevant disciplines worldwide to visit and exchange ideas.
